Skiing on Seal Cove Pond

This is an old painting, done on a painted over canvas, which I regret, since it turned out so well. I really love it because it was done from memory, of a day out with my friend Roger, who has since died.  We stayed out as long as the short winter day would let us and only went home at sunset.

The sky was just like this and  we stopped to admire it near a small wooded islet as we neared home.

This is in my mother's collection and Zoltan made the fabulous frame for it.
