Well - I love the little Zorro figure
(any friend of Zorro's is a friend of mine)
and
it's got a Royal Warrant !
BUT
17.00 is apparently not enough to assure one of a decent port.....
This is very grape-y and thin.
It's not syrupy sweet as some cheep ports are, but it seems unfinished, callow and has got no depth, no soul to it.
The nose is harsh and chemical, no after-effects there. Same with the flavor, it's not unpleasant but certainly undistinguished. Pretty much just grapes and alcohol burn, wihout richness. I did leave a glass out for a couple of hours after which it mellowed enough to reveal a slight cinnamon finish...still nothing to brag about , though - sort of like a spiced, spiked grape juice perfect for an illicit quaff at a teenager's pyjamma party.
