This really cool  antique register that Zoltan gave me... will insure that warmth from stove gets into pipes and bath.

This is what Zoltan had to start with ! There will be a wall from the right over to where it says 4foot 9, no - 6"  !  Bead board, with a door to the closet under there made out of same material. Pole to grab for the twisty winding stairs will go up from built - in newel post.
